The BMW R75, a vintage motorcycle and sidecar combo, was crafted by BMW in the 1930s. In response to a military request, the R75 was developed in 1938, featuring a driven third sidecar wheel and selectable gear ratios for enhanced maneuverability. Though production targets weren't met, the R75 remained in production until 1944, with some units assembled by Soviets post-war. Its standardized components simplify spare part sourcing, making it a coveted collector's item. Restored R75s can still be used daily, on or off-road. During WW2, Soviets studied and replicated the R75, leading to Harley-Davidson's first shaft-driven model, the XA.
