Lay-PVA is a water soluble filament ideal for use as carrier material. An excellent support material for parts that need support structures, it's designed to grip materials such as PLA, ABS or Nylon. After finishing the 3D part, simply submerge in cold or warm water for about two hours for the support material to completely dissolve. Hot water will accelerate the process of Lay-PVA dissolution, however, cold water is also entirely soluble. No trace will be left behind. This revolutionary material is made of PVA (polyvinyl acetate). This PVA original formula is designed to be more resistant to heat distortion and have greater protection against thermal degradation inside the extruder. One of the main problems of other PVA filaments formulas.
