Each flying geese ruler trims to the finished size (listed on the ruler) plus the seam allowances on all four sides. The trimmed sizes for each ruler is listed below in parenthesis. Bloc Loc’s Flying Geese 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ ruler locks onto the seams for instant ruler placement, total control so that seams end in the corners and trims the correct amount across the tip. Trims full & partial flying geese, parallelograms, square in a square and many, many other versions of flying geese units. Size after trimming is 2 3/4″ x 5″.
